By attending a class or a workshop I am certifying that I have read the Workshop/Class Guidelines, the Refund Policy and the Cancellation Policy detailed below and I understand that there is an inherent risk in any exercise activities and I agree to abide by the rules set out in the Workshop/Class Guidelines.

I also certify that I have no medical contraindication to participating in a workshop or class. I understand if I believe that I might have any medical contraindication to participating in a workshop or class then it is my responsibility to obtain a clearance from my doctor before commencing.

I also accept that Loura Costello Coons cannot be held responsible for any injury or damage to my person or property that results from attending and/or participating in a workshop or class.

Workshop/Class Guidelines

  • Workshops or classes are open to any suitable person provided they are medically fit and can participate without assistance in the class.
  • Classes last for one hour. Participants are encouraged to have a rest in between and to work within their own comfort zone at all times.
  • Participants are required to do a gentle warm-up exercise before they start and cooling down exercise after each class.
  • Any participant who has any doubt whether they are medically fit to attend the workshop or class, are required to have a medical clearance from their doctor prior to commencing the class or workshop.
  • The Tai Chi exercise in this program would be similar to walking in terms of physical exertion.
  • Workshops or classes that occur outdoors have additional risks including, but not limited to, uneven ground, weather events, slippery and/or wet conditions, and sun exposure. Dress appropriately, use sun protection as needed, and stay hydrated.
  • Proper and comfortable attire should be worn at all times that is suitable for the location and weather. Wear supportive footwear appropriate for the terrain.

Refund Policy

Class and workshop fees are nonrefundable and are final.

Cancellation Policy

In the event a class or workshop is canceled due to instructor illness or extreme weather than a full refund will be issued to the payment method used to register for the class or workshop.
